10 Kid-Friendly Activities to Do at OtterHalf’s New Home, 195 Pearl’s Hill Terrace
In January, we moved into our otter-ly inspiring office space at 195 Pearl’s Hill Terrace, a vibrant arts enclave bustling with creative workshops and family-friendly activities throughout the week. This office is where we run our agency on weekdays, but with a playful twist — it turns into a playground for our newly-launched kids’ marketing workshops on weekends.
Whether you’re dropping your kids off for an afternoon of fun, or thinking of saying hi to Ottie, we thought we’d tell you all about Pearl’s Hill Terrace, and drop some fun, family-friendly tips on what to do around here.

What is Pearl’s Hill Terrace?

Tucked between Chinatown and Outram Park, Pearl’s Hill Terrace is a whimsical, creative hub that brings Singapore’s local art community together. Once a former police station, the building has since been reimagined into a vibrant collective of indie art studios, homegrown brands, craft workshops, music rooms, photography lofts, and more.
Every corner is splashed with street art and graffiti, an ever-evolving reflection of the artists who occupy these spaces. It’s the kind of place where creativity feels contagious. Whether you’re exploring pottery, dance, painting or music, there’s something new to discover here every day.
Why We Chose 195 Pearl’s Hill Terrace
We’d like to say this place chose us. When we stepped into the colourful courtyard for the first time as a team, it already felt like home.
On the practical side, we were looking for an office space and a suitable venue to run kids’ workshops. Somehow, Pearl’s Hill Terrace brought both worlds together under one roof. Here’s why it felt like a natural fit for us:
A creative playground inspires the way we think
Being surrounded by other creatives — marketing agencies, interior designers, makers and creative entrepreneurs — is something we deeply value. After close to three years of building a fully remote working culture, it’s refreshing to step into a space where our ideas, conversations, and inspiration can bounce off each other.
Sometimes, all it takes is a change of environment (and a little fresh air) to spark new ways of thinking.
A vibrant, welcoming community
Pearl’s Hill Terrace is known for its warm, collaborative energy. From weekend craft festivals to pop-up workshops and family-friendly events, there’s always something happening outside our door — and plenty of opportunities to meet like-minded people along the way.
If you’re curious, their Instagram is a great place to see what’s coming up.
Family and kid-friendly by nature
On weekends, the entire space transforms into a creative haven for families. With play corners, workshops, and activities designed for all ages, it’s a place where kids are welcomed — not just accommodated.
With our plans to expand our marketing workshops for kids, it felt like the perfect environment to learn, play and grow together.
And as we settled in, we realised this wasn’t just a great place to work — it’s also an incredibly fun place for kids to explore.

10. Ottie’s Splash and Sell Workshop and become a mini marketer
Source: OtterHalf
For many kids with big ideas, their only way of attracting customers is word of mouth — getting friends and family to buy from them.
But in the real world, there’s more than one way to attract customers.
That’s what kids discover at Ottie’s Splash & Sell Workshop — a 2-hour hands-on marketing workshop by award-winning fractional marketing agency OtterHalf, designed for curious kids aged 7–12.
Guided by Ottie the Otter, the main character of Singapore’s first marketing-themed card game Ottie’s Fishy Business, kids learn marketing through play as they help Ottie attract customers for her fish stand. Through guided gameplay and simple challenges, they explore different ways businesses grow beyond word of mouth.
The workshop is led by a marketing heavyweight — Cassandra Ong, founder of OtterHalf, a marketing lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic, a mum of two (aged 4 and 7), and a marketer with 14+ years of experience across tech startups and large corporations.
One slot for the 2-hour Ottie’s Splash & Sell Workshop starts at SGD 68, inclusive of 1 set of Ottie’s Fishy Business Card Game (valued at SGD 19.90) and more fin-tastic goodies. Check out our workshops here.
